Rates:
Prices are in New Zealand dollars and include full use of all facilities, the on-farm walks and some breakfast provisions.
Prices also include 15% GST.
Rates are based on one or two persons, unless otherwise specified.

Animal Policy:
As Waimarie Station is a working farm, we unfortunately cannot have dogs or any other animals on farm during your stay.

Cancellation and Refunds:

  • Cancellations made at least 15 days away from the booking date, will be issued with a 100% refund of the total booking price.

  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the arrival date, will be issued with a 50% refund of the total booking price.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the arrival date, will be issued with a 0% refund of the total booking price.

  • No-shows will be charged the full amount of the booking.

  • Credit card details provided will be used to charge any cancellation fees.

  • A $5 processing fee will apply for refunds.

    Waimarie Station reserves the right to cancel a booking at any time due to adverse weather conditions. In such a case, a full refund will be provided.

Arrival and Departure Times:
Check in is anytime after 2pm and check out is anytime before 11am.
You can check in later than 2pm however we recommend coming as early as possible to make the most of your stay.
The property must be completely vacated by check-out time. Failure to comply will incur a surcharge.

No Smoking Policy:
Guests agree not to smoke inside the property. A breach of this policy will result in a NZ$500 cleaning fee, charged to the credit card provided when booking.

Liability:
Waimarie Station will not be held liable for any loss of personal property. Waimarie Station is also not responsible for any medical issues encountered before, during, or after the guest’s stay.
Any disputes that arise will be governed by the laws of New Zealand.

Hazard Advice:
By making a booking at The Cabin, you accept that Waimarie Station is a working farm and as such, has multiple hazards associated with rural activities carried out upon it and these are summarised as follows;

  • No responsibility is accepted for any accident or misadventure that may arise from any vehicular activity except where qualified farm staff or their agent are responsible for operating the vehicle concerned

  • Electric fences are widely used on the property and must be treated as live at all times unless stipulated by the owner. No responsibility is accepted for any accident or misadventure that may occur to visitors should they make contact with a live wire

  • All visitors must treat varying topography of the farm with extreme caution, especially in areas of uncertainty. All visitors should avoid land that they consider to be beyond their physical capability or such terrain that may lead, or is likely to lead, to an accident

  • In the unlikely event of an accident or incident that is likely to lead to personal injury or the injury of others, the landowner, his agent or a suitably appointed person must be notified immediately
